On April 23rd, I attended InnovAcciones 360°, an event to promote communication among the industry, researchers and consumers, organized by CSIC (the largest public research institution in Spain and the third in Europe). This first meeting was to discuss plastic packaging, its current role and what its future should be. Designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and debate, this workshop was the first of what the organization hopes will be a series of events with similar format, so I hope that my comments are used to improve the next InnovAcciones 360°
